Tony Enogieru commented:
Although I don’t have the words to say it, I thank you for always being there for us.
Even when you were down,
You always seemed to care.
You meant so much to all of us;
You were special and that’s no lie.
You brightened up the darkest day
And even the greyest sky.
Many tears I have seen and cried.
They have all poured out like rain.
I remember you and what you used to say.
You made each of us smile
They say in time it gets easier.
I don’t believe that you have moved.
You didn’t say goodbye.
Our friendship is forever.
Although you’re away physically,
You’ll always remain in my heart.
Peacefully rest on
Dr. Ken Ikhide commented:
Alas, the Admiral has sailed ☹️
Why Admiral? Why?
You gave strength!
You gave hope!
You gave vision!
You gave courage!
Truth was first nature to you!
Who can forget those keen microscopic eyes that never miss anything. How did you miss this?
Many of us hung on to your courage.
You gave a reason to wake up next day to continue!
But then you had other plans!
You sailed away in the quiet of the night in calm waters!
Will the sailor return and say I didn’t mean to go away! I didn’t mean to leave you!
For we have so much to do and we were only just getting started!
Please I beg you to say those words!
My ears listen for the faintest hope of those words.
My heart pounding with apprehension.
But it is a dream! Isn’t it?
I will wake up from this nightmare! Won’t I?
I know they say there is a time for everything, but it surely wasn’t the time for you to set sail.
It’s a struggle daily down here now with the void you have left.
How do I cope? How do I carry on?
There can be no replacements for the SMS’s and phone calls.☹️
As you journey my dear Admiral Nelson, remember us for in God’s time we shall have a big hug again.
Farewell great admiral Nelson!
May your beautiful soul rest in peace.

President Sylvester Okojie Commented:
NELSON AGBONAVBARE IYARE
Your exit is becoming more and more glaring each day
The thought of you not part of us again is devastating
Your silence is even more harmful
That you left on Sunday, a day of the Lord shows that you simply went to join the angels and saints to continue your worship
That you didn’t think of us your friends,
Even your family were taken aback
Not a goodbye from you? Rather you leave us to wallow in this mystery call life
Your real name AGBONAVBARE is the only consolation we have now
True to what that name means
we have come to accept this reality and be consoled and to wish you well.
But it is hard jut to crack indeed.
Adieu Nelson Agbonavbare Iyare
Adieu our President emeritus
Adieu my great man of valour
Adieu my brother of benevolent heart
Adieu my custodian of facts and data.
